Who is Andrea Sebben

Intercultural scientist, psychologist and author. In more than 25 years she has prepared around 15,000 people to live, study or work abroad, in more than 80 countries.

  • Psychologist (PUCRS and Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Master in Social Psychology (UFSC).
  • Member of the IACCP, International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology, since 1998.
  • AFS International Educational Advisory Council (2006 to 2012), leading Training for Trainers across Latin America; Training for Trainers for YFU.
  • Invited professor at FGV, Fundação Dom Cabral and IEL; tutor and guest speaker at MIT on Cultural Awareness since 2021.
  • Author of four books on intercultural education, with a fifth in production.
  • Works in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian. Lived in Spain, Italy, Belgium, the United States and Canada.
