My Compass, the career interest test of University Access

In ten minutes, the student discovers what drives them. You get the conversation ready-made.

Thirty everyday activities and a confidence check, under ten minutes on the phone. Right away, the student sees their six areas of interest (Hands-on, Investigate, Create, Care and teach, Lead and launch, Organize), the fields of study that match and the University Access universities that offer them. The student decides who sees the result. The counselor recommends an area. Free for the student, in four languages.

What the student sees

Six bars in two colours: how much they like each area and how capable they feel. That gap is where the best conversation lives. Then the study areas that fit, the careers that run through each area and the University Access universities that offer them. Never "not for you".

  • Compares with the course they already had in mind and with the areas in their profile: strong, moderate or light fit.
  • Students who want more precision sharpen the Compass with 30 more activities, 60 in total.
  • Direction, not destiny: the result opens paths, and the next level is starting the university choice with you and with us.

Your role, with zero extra work

You see the status of the class: who has not started, who has taken it and who shared it, with the strongest area of each. When the student shares, you receive the full result and a one-page conversation guide: three questions to open and what the gap between interest and confidence suggests.

  • Recommend an area with your name on it: the student sees your recommendation next to the result.
  • A personal reading, written by artificial intelligence from the answers, ends with a question for the conversation with you.
  • The student downloads the result as a PDF and brings it to the conversation, or home. Nothing to mark, apply or tabulate.

Values, study style and the course routine

In the second stage, about eight more minutes, the student sorts 18 cards of what they value in a career and answers 16 statements about how they study today. With that, each study area lands in one of four quadrants: attracts and the routine fits; attracts but will ask for preparation; does not attract but the routine fits; neither. One piece of advice in each.

  • Holland's RIASEC model, backed by decades of research, with the O*NET Interest Profiler as inspiration; original questions in four languages. Not a psychological test or a diagnosis.
  • Retake once a school year and see what changed since last time.
  • Universities never see scores, only the areas the student confirms in the profile. The family sees it when the student shares, and only then.
